New Delhi: The curtain raiser of Global Library Summit 2025 event was organiged by South Asian University in collaboration with LIS Academy, Bangalore, at Ambedkar International Center in Delhi on Monday. 

It is a premier international event bringing together scholars, librarians, and policymakers worldwide to explore libraries transformative role in fostering international cooperation and understanding. 

On this occasion, Prof TG Sitharam Chairman, AICTE, New Delhi, Prof KK Aggarwal Hon’ble President, SAU, (SAARC Nations), Prof Karisiddappa Academic Adviser, GEF (Engg. & GS), Bangalore, Akash Patil Director, DAIC among those dignitaries who were present there.

Meanwhile, Prof KK Aggarwal Hon’ble President of South Asian University (SAU) said that academic is best method of uniting the world and library plays the great role in this.

Prof TG Sitharam Chairman, AICTE, New Delhi said that Global Library Summit is going to be a very unique event. Library science has changed over the period of time owing to new technology and AI and we need to change overseleves to adapt the new technology. 

The Global Library Summit 2025 will be organised on 5-7 February at  South Asian University in Delhi.
