General Elections 2024: Remaining 57 LS seats under final ph-7 go to polls tomorrow; Results on Tuesday

New Delhi: The voting for remaining 57 Lok Sabha seats and Odisha Assembly seats under Phase-7 is going to take place on Saturday, June 1.  

Under the seventh and the last  phase, 57 seats are spread over 7 states and 1 Union Territory (UT) and remaining seats of  Odisha Assembly, reports Dynamite News correspondent.  

The States which are going to polls on June 1 include Bihar (8), Himachal Pradesh (4), Jharkhand (3), Odisha (6), Punjab (13), Uttar Pradesh (13), West Bengal (9), and UT Chandigarh (1). The polling will also take place for one State Assembly of Odisha. 

Voting Pattern: 
During this General Elections 2024, India will vote in 3 ways
1. Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs): There are this time over 55 lakh EVMs. Most of the voters will vote through EVMs.
2. Postal Ballot: Over 19 lakh service personnel and those who are on poll duty will vote through Postal Ballot.
3. From Home: This is introduced for the first time in Lok Sabha polls for those who are 85 years and above. 

The counting of votes for all the 7 phases will take place on June 4.
