Ganpati Festival: GSB Mandal postpones Ganeshotsav celebrations to this date
GSB Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Samiti, Wadala, which is one of the richest Ganpati mandals in Mumbai, on Tuesday, announced its decision to postpone Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations to this date.
Mumbai: GSB Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Samiti, Wadala, which is one of the richest Ganpati mandals in Mumbai, on Tuesday, announced its decision to postpone Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations to February 2021.
The decision was taken in the backdrop of the surge in COVID-19 cases.The Committee has decided to hold the celebrations during Maghi Ganpati. Maghi Ganesh Chaturthi will begin on February 15, 2021.

Each year, Ganeshotav is celebrated in a lavish manner in Mumbai, where lakhs of devotees visit the mandals to seek blessing from Lord Ganesh.This GSB Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Samiti usually invites devotees to seek blessings for 10 days during the festival. (ANI)
