Fugitive Saddam of Atiq Ahmed gang nabbed by UP STF in Delhi; Had come to meet his girlfriend
Saddam, brother-in-law of Ashraf, brother of mafia Atiq Ahmed, has been arrested by UP STF from Delhi. Saddam was carrying a reward of Rs. one lakh. Read full report of Dynamite News:
Lucknow: The brother-in-law of Ashraf, brother of notorious mafia Atiq Ahmed, has been arrested by UP STF from Delhi. Saddam was carrying a reward of Rs. one lakh. Saddam was absconding after the murder of Umesh Pal. Both Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf were killed in Prayagraj in broad daylight.
As per Dynamite News correspondent, UP STF arrested Saddam from DDA flat opposite Select Citywalk Mall in South Delhi’s Malviya Nagar. He is originally a resident of village Hatwa, Uphar police station, Puramufti district, Prayagraj.
For the past several days, UP STF was getting tips about Saddam being active at a rented house in Bareilly. Various STF units and teams were working on it.

In the meantime, STF got input from an informer in Bareilly about Saddam hiding in Delhi. Acting on this information, STF Bareilly team apprehended Saddam from Malviya Nagar.
During interrogation, Saddam disclosed that he was changing places in Delhi, Karnataka and Mumbai to avoid his arrest.
Saddam told the STF that he had come to Delhi from Bareilly on Wednesday to meet his girlfriend Anam.

A case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections at Bithri Chainpur police station, Bareilly. Further investigation is underway.
