New Delhi: Former Mayor Preeti Agarwal hoisted 75 feet high national flag in Rohini

New Delhi: Under the chairmanship of former Mayor and Councilor Preeti Agarwal, the flag of 'Maa Bharti' was hoisted on the occasion of Mother's Day under the 75th 'Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' program in Rohini Sector 18. For the first time, 75 feet high national flag has been installed in Delhi by the corporation.

As per Dynamite News correspondent, on this occasion as a chief guest former BJP National Vice President and Uttarakhand in-charge Shyam Jaju and National Temple founder Ajay were present, Delhi Kisan Morcha President Rajpal Rana, former Standing Committee Vice President Vijendra Yadav, Commissioner Sanjay Goyal, Director in chief (Environmental Management Services) VK Gupta, Deputy Commissioner JK Jain and other dignitaries were also present.

Preeti Agarwal said that today on the occasion of Mother's Day, this 75 feet high national flag has been hoisted for Mother India. She said that we all know that on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the whole country is celebrating the 75 years of independence as 'Azadi ka Amrit Mohtsav,' under which the North DMC has installed this national flag.

Preeti Aggarwal said that when people will come out of their house or go to their office, they will be able to see the national flag 2-3 times a day and the feeling of patriotism will be awakened among the citizens and they will remember the freedom fighters who sacrificed everything for the country's independence. She said that it is now the responsibility of the citizens to maintain the pride and dignity of the national flag.

Apart from the above, the dignitaries also planted saplings in the park for environmental protection.
