'Focus on every case earnestly', SC Judge calls upon young lawyers at DME

Noida: Justice CT Ravikumar of Supreme Court called upon budding lawyers that they should focus on the subject matter of every case before representing it before the bench, reports Dynamite News correspondent. 

Justice Ravikumar was speaking on the occasion of Moot Court Competition 2024 held at Delhi Metropolitan Education, Noida, affiliated with GGSIPU.

Justice Ravikumar said, “it is essential for each person pursuing legal profession to focus on the subject matter of every case before representing it before the bench, as for you it might be just one of the many cases that you deal with, but for your client, it is their whole life”.

The event was organised by DME Law School in collaboration with Unacademy, SCC Online and SCC Times. The other partners include Triumvir Law, Law Chakra, TILA, International Arbitration & Mediation Centre, Singhania & Partners, P&P Advisories, Essential Drops and Triple J. 

The event also had representations from Delhi International Arbitration Centre annexed under Delhi High Court.

Earlier Justice CT Ravikumar was felicitated by Justice Bhanwar Singh, Former Judge, Allahabad High Court and Director General, DME; Vipin Sahni, Chairman and Aman Sahni, Vice-Chairman, DME. 

As many as 140 participants and 45 teams from all over India participated in the Moot Court Competition 2024. The competition served as a platform for legal scholars to showcase their expertise and engage in meaningful discourse.

Justice Najmi Waziri, Delhi High Court; Senior Advocate Dr Adish Aggarwala, President of the Supreme Court Bar Association; and Advocate Navin Kumar Jaggi, CEO Jaggi Jaggie and Jaggi were also present on the occasion among many other dignitaries.
