Today Yogi Adityanath took the chair for the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and wants UP to be more strict and free of crime.

Lucknow: The newly elected chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath began his first day with meeting Javed Ahmed, Uttar Pradesh Police Chief and Rahul Bhatnagar, the chief secretary of Uttar Pradesh.

  1. His meeting with police chief was about the killing of BSP leader in Allahabad last night. He also wants Ahmed to come up with a blueprint for better policing in Uttar Pradesh within 15 days, after consulting with police officers of all districts.
  2. Adityanath has asked all his ministers to submit to him details of their assets and wealth within 15 days.
  3. Ministers have been warned against speaking to the media except through the spokespersons for the UP government- Shrikant Sharma and Siddharth Nath Singh.

Yogi Adityanath has said his government will work for all sections of the society without any discrimination. He will move into his his official 5 Kalidas Marg residence.
