New Delhi: A fire erupted at the Gokalpuri Police Station in North East Delhi on Friday afternoon, officials said. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, office equipment got damaged in the fire. Fortunately, no loss of life or injuries were reported.

Fire Department
The fire department received the call about fire at 1.20 pm. The room where the fire broke out had LED panels, computer systems, and furniture. 

The fire was doused by the fire brigade personnel swiftly.

Cause of fire 
Preliminary probe suggested that the inferno may have been caused by an electrical fault in the wiring or a malfunctioning of an equipment, the officer said. (With Agnecy Inputs)
