Seoul: Fire broke out on Monday in South Korea's thermal power plant, with no casualty reported, according to Yonhap news agency.
Flames and smoke erupted at about 9:28 a.m. local time (0028 GMT) from a section of the thermal power plant in Yeosu, about 320 km south of the capital Seoul.

The section was a desulfurization facility that stopped operation since 2021 and has been under demolition.
No casualty was reported, and the fire authorities were investigating the exact cause of the accident.
