Ex-Sri Lankan President Rajapaksa’s son arrested on corruption charges

Colombo: Ex-Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa's son Yoshitha Rajapaksa was arrested on Saturday in an alleged corruption case. 

Arrested under Money Laundering Act
According to police, he was was arrested under the Money Laundering Act.

Arrested from Beliatta
Yoshitha, Ex-navy officer, was arrested from Beliatta in a case related to alleged misconduct in the purchase of the property during the term of Mahinda Rajapaksa presidency.

Gotabaya Rajapaksa questioned 
Last week, his uncle and former head of the state Gotabaya Rajapaksa was also quizzed in the case.
