Patna: Former MLA  Anant Singh just escaped unhurt following exchange of fire between Sonu-Monu gang and his security personnel in the Mokama area of Patna, reports Dynamite News correspondent. 

60-70 rounds were fired during the encounter. Anant Singh was meeting with the people in Hemja village when the gang members started firing at him.

Security beefed up
Following the attack, security has been beefed up in the area. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the Sonu-Monu gang thrashed a family in the village and locked their house. On receiving the information, Anant Singh reached there. When the gang members saw the Ex-MLA, they starded firing at him.
