Entertainment: Shahid Kapoor starrer movie ‘Jersey’ again postponed

Mumbai: Just three days before hitting the theaters, Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur starrer film ‘Jersey’ release date has been postponed from 14 April to 22 April.
Movie producer Komal Nahta took to twitter and shared the information about the new release date of the film.

He wrote, "As a team, we have put our blood sweat and tears into 'Jersey' and would like our beloved film to reach all of you in the widest possible way. Jersey will now release on 22nd April.”
Looking to the tight position of cinemas, it has been shifted ahead, he added.
The movie is the remake of the National Award-winning Telugu film of the same name.

The story of the film will revolve around the Shahid, who play the role of Arjun, a failed cricketer who decides to fulfil his dream of representing Team India for his son.
Earlier, the flick got delayed in December last year due to a surge in COVID-19 cases.
