Eluru: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday announced ex-gratia of Rs 25 lakh to the kin of the dead, Rs 5 lakhs for the critically injured, and Rs 2 lakhs to the ones who sustained minor injuries in a fire accident in a chemical factory located in Akkireddygudem in the district.

According to Superintendent of Police, the injured are being treated in a Government Hospital in Vijayawada.
It is suspected the fire broke out late on Wednesday in the plant's reactor that makes polymer power, he added.
