At least eight people have died in rain-related incidents in Gujarat in last 12 hours, including four of a family in Bopal area of Ahmedabad city.
Ahmedabad: At least eight people have died in rain-related incidents in Gujarat in last 12 hours, including four of a family in Bopal area of Ahmedabad city.
Police said that Dinesh (37), his wife Ramnaben (30) and three-year-old daughter and two-year-old son were crushed to death under the debris of a wall which fell during heavy rain in Nisarg Bungalow locality in Bopal area of the city in the wee hours today.

They were involved in construction work in plot number 10 and had made a makeshift residence along the wall that collapsed.
Earlier, four including two woman and a girl died in Nadiad town of Kheda district in Central Gujarat when a three-storied old building in Pragatinagar area of the town suddenly collapsed amid heavy rain late night. Five injured have been admitted to hospital, PSI of Nadiad town police station B G Parmar said on Saturday. (UNI)
