Dream Girl turns 69 on her Birthday
B-town legendary actress, Hema Malini is celebrating her 69th Birthday.
New Delhi: Dream Girl of Bollywood, Hema Malini turns 69 on her birthday today.
According to the report, on her specail day, the first full-length biography of the veteran actress, also a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Parliamentarian, will be launched.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has applauded Hema Malini’s Cinematic excellence in the permeable of the book.
Dream Girl born on October 16, 1948, in Jeeyapuram, Tiruchirappalli district, Madras. She is the third child born of a Tamil-Speaking family.

In 1961 she acted in the regional movie as a dancer but unfortunately, she was rejected by Tamil Director, C.V Sridhar because for not being “Star Material”. Instead of that, she got her first break in 1965 with a small role in film “Pandava Vanavasamu”. But in 1969 she got the main lead in ‘Sapno Ka Saudagar’ where she was cast next to Raj Kapoor.
After that, she didn’t look back and she had done lot of super hits movie such Seeta Aur Geeta, Sholay, Dream Girl, Satte Pe Satta, Amir Garib, Prem Nagar, Khushboo, Sanyasi, Mehbooba etc;
Hema Malini is known for her very versatile Acting and Dancing. She is a very illustrious personality in the film fraternity.
Dream Girl unveils that Jeetender and Sanjeev Kumar had approached her for marriage proposals but her heart got stolen by known other than Dharmendra. They both married on August 21, 1979, and have two children.

In 2000 she conferred with Padma Shri Award by the Government of India. And it’s not enough, she got various awards for her tremendous performances. She got 2 filmfare awards in 1973 and Lifetime Achievement award in 1993.
Even though her sizzling acting and dancing do not stop her to go into another field from 2003 to 2009, the actress was elected to the Rajya Sabha, as a representative of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and in 2014, she was elected to the Lok Sabha.
She is living very joyous life with her family, But the fire to learn more is still to her. In a recent interview, Dream Girl expressed that one western style she would love to learn is Salsa.
