Dr Neena Malhotra becomes India's Ambassador to Sweden

New Delhi: The Government of India has appointed Dr Neena Malhotra as India's next Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden. 

Currently, Dr Neena Malhotra is serving as a Special Duty Officer in the Ministry of External Affairs.

 Dr Neena Malhotra is an officer of the 1992 batch of the Indian Foreign Service (IFS).

Prevously she has served as the Indian Ambassador to Italy, the Republic of San Marino, and the United Nations Organisations in Rome.

PhD from IARI

She did her PhD from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) in New Delhi.
