Srinagar/ 27 Jan 2016.  The higher reaches of Kashmir, including the tourist resorts of Gulmarg and Pahalgam have received fresh snowfall, while some areas in the plains have been lashed by rains. Houses and resorts have been seen blanketed by a layer of snow. The Met department has predicted a wet spell over the next few days.
