Dynamite News Thai PM offers prayers in Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya

Patna/18 June 2016. Thailand Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o- Cha, along with his wife, visited the Mahabodhi Temple at Bodh Gaya, about 110 km from Patna in Bihar on Saturday.
Prayut Chan-o- Cha offered prayers to Lord Buddha in the Temple.
He meditated under the holy Peepal tree, commonly known as Mahabodhi Vriksh in the premises.
The Temple is considered the holiest Buddhist’s shrine.
Thai Prime Minister also visited the Thai monastery in Bodh Gaya.
Chan-o-cha said his country will extend all possible assistance for the development of the Mahabodhi Temple as well as for extension of tourism in Bodh Gaya.
