Sanjay returns as Khalnayak in Khalnayak Returns

Mumbai/ 11 July 2016. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is going to reprise his iconic Khalnayak character Ballu Balram after more than two decades in Khalnayak Returns (KR).

Subhash Ghai’s Khalyanak was an action thriller in 1993 also starred Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff and became one of the biggest blockbuster during that time.  

About the sequel
The sequel would kick off with Ballu’s character coming out of the jail after 20 years to find him in a completely different world. But, the circumstances will take him back to the world of crime. 

However Ghai said the script is in final stage. 

‘Nayak Nahi Khalnayak Hoon Main’ one of the most crooned song till now would be retained in the sequel, said Ghai. 

KR has already generated a buzz in the film industry for all the good reasons and is now one of the most anticipated movies to look forward to.

However during this two decade period Sanju has gone through many heavens and hells of life and much water has flown in the Ganges. 

We hope and pray that the tumult had not corroded and crumbled the spark and fire of 1993 Khalnayak in Sanjay Dutt.
