PM Modi visits Qatar to enhance economic cooperation

Doha, Qatar/ 5 June 2016. On his second stop at Qatar as part of his five nation tour Prime Minister Narendra Modi met business leaders in Doha on Sunday. 

Modi invites Qatar businessmen to invest in India
While addressing Business leaders in Doha PM Modi said, “India is a land of opportunity. I have come to personally invite you to take advantage of this opportunity.” 

He added agro processing, railways and solar energy could be very promising areas for Qatar to invest.

Modi reached Doha on Saturday for his two day visit, on his arrival he received warm welcome from his Qatar counterpart Emir of Qatar Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani. Qatar is India’s largest supplier of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) requirements.
