PM Modi in South Africa: Bilateral cooperation to be enhanced

Pretoria/ 8 July 2016. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached South African capital Pretoria in the second leg of his Africa tour.
Modi will meet African President Jacob Zuma for bilateral talks after the welcome ceremony.
Signing of MoUs
After signing of agreements and MoUs both the leaders would brief a joint press conference.
Modi and Zuma will also address business leaders of both countries.
In the evening Prime Minister is scheduled to meet Deputy President of South African Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Meeting Indian Diaspora
Modi will visit Nelson Mandela Foundation. He will also address Indian diaspora in Johannesburg.
After addressing the diaspora Prime Minister will leave for Durban and visit Pietermaritzburg railway station and Phoenix farm that are related to the life of Mahatma Gandhi.
Modiâs visit to South Africa is substantial for economic ties, technology transfer, enhance international cooperation and to connect Indian diaspora in Indiaâs development.
In the next leg of his 4-nation tour, Prime Minister on Saturday will leave for Tanzania and then Kenya before ending his tour on Sunday.
