Pagans worship Yurya god for better harvest

. Pagans in Belarus are celebrating god Yurya. The locals believe Yurya would protect their future harvest. Every year the festival is celebrated on May 6. 

 


Celebrations
During celebrations, locals sing spring songs followed by prayers. On this day people wear their national dress and bake bread for the celebration.
