Noida Authorities: IAS Rama Raman out and Sanjay Agarwal in

Lucknow/ 4 July 2016. The Uttar Pradesh government on Monday axed the CEO of Noida, Greater Noida and the Yamuna Expressway Authority, Rama Raman following a censure from the Allahabad High Court questioning the continuance in the post.

Senior IAS Raman was appointed by the Mayawati government in 2010 and continued in the same post even during Samajwadi Party government.  

Allahabad High court had taken severe exception on Rama Raman’s continuance in the coveted posts for the last six years and had questioned whether the state government could not find anyone better to replace him.

Senior IAS Sanjay Agarwal has been given the charge of the three authorities.
