Mughal Gardens Udyanotsav 2016 begins

New Delhi / 12 Feb 2016. The Rashtrapati Bhavanâs Mughal Gardens are officially open for general public, as the annual garden festival Udyanotsav begins on Friday.
Spread across 15 acres, the sprawling lawns are home to 70 varieties of seasonal flowers.
The festival at the Mughal Gardens will continue till March 20.
The timings for entry are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm every day, except Mondays when the gardens close for maintenance.
The highlights for this year are the tulips flown in from Holland, roses and primroses.
The Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan are inspired by the Mughal gardens of Jammu and Kashmir.
