Miss Philippines Is Miss Universe 2015

New Delhi/ 21 Dec. Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach became Miss Universe 2015. However, earlier Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez was declared Miss Universe mistakenly, but soon, organizers corrected it and declared Miss Colombia as runner-up. She surrendered her crown to Miss Philippines. 

The Miss Universe 2015 competition held in Las Vegas of US. Miss Gutierrez was named first runner-up followed by Olivia Jordan from the United States. India’s Urvashi Rautela also participated but could not reach in last 10. It's been 15 years since India won the Miss Universe title — it was Lara Dutta in 2000.
