Keenan-Reuben murder Verdict: 4 accused get life imprisonment

A special women’s court in Mumbai has sentenced 4 persons to life imprisonment in connection with the murder of Keenan Santosh and Reuben Fernardez, which took place in 2011.

 

 

Court convicts them for murder and molestation charges
In October at Amboli Bar, the four accused passed lewd comments on the two girls with Santosh, Reuben and 3 other people. The two while trying to defend were murdered brutally.

 

Five years later, after several delays, when finally judgement was pronounced, Keenan and Reuben’s family who were present at the special women’s court broke down outside the court and were inconsolable.

 

The four accused are convicted for murder, molestation, charges of outraging the modesty of a woman and relevant sections of the Bombay Police.
