Kabir Bedi Wedding guest: I wish you 10 more marriages

The versatile and veteran actor, Kabir Bedi, recently celebrated his 70th birthday with a fourth marriage to his long-term companion Parveen Dusanj, 42 who is four years younger to his actress/columnist daughter Pooja Bedi. The small wedding was a surprise for the guests who had arrived to celebrate Kabir Bedi’s birthday.

Guest List
The guest list featured minimal who’s who of Bollywood, with only selected close friends. A guest of the occasion, the Bollywood ‘bad-man’ Gulshan Grover told reporters “Wishes come from heart I wish him all the very best and I wish him 10 more marriages.” While his son Adam Bedi attended the event, daughter Pooja Bedi was conspicuous with her absence. 

Birthday boy and Groom
A career spanning across decades, and three divorces behind him Kabir Bedi is active as ever “I wish to thank every single person who has loved me, wished me, supported me and wanted the best for me. I hope I live up to their expectation and believe me the best is yet to come,” he added.

New Step-Mother
Pooja Bedi tweeted the arrival of new bride and step-mother Parveen Dusanj: “Every fairy tale has a wicked witch or an evil step~mother! Mine just arrived! @iKabirBedi just married @parveendusanj,”

Previous Wives 
Kabir Bedi first married Odissi dancer Protima Bedi with whom he had two children, Pooja Bedi and Siddharth Bedi (who later committed suicide). After his divorce he married British fashion designer Susan Humphreys and had another son, Adam Bedi. Divorcing Humphreys, Bedi married British TV/Radio presenter Nikki Bedi whom he divorced in 2005.
