Irrfan Khan-starrer Madaari: Now to hit theatres on July 22

Mumbai/ 9 July 2016.  Actor Irrfan Khan-starrer Madaari will now be released on July 22.  Earlier it was to hit theatres  on July 15, the day Great Grand Masti (GGM)  is going to release.   

Request for release postponement 
The date has been postponed at the behest of the makers of GGM.  

Makers of GGM requested Vashu Bhagnani, the distributor of Madaari, to push back the film's release.

Bhagnani agreed readily. "The industry is one big family and we all operate for and with each other. Madaari will now hit theatres on July 22, while 'Great Grand Masti' will come on July 15," he said in a statement.

This is the second time that the movie's release date has been postponed. First it was to release on June 10. 

Madaari explores a father-son relationship. Directed by Nishikant Kamat it also features Jimmy Sheirgill in a pivotal role.
