India and Kenya sign 7 agreements of bilateral cooperation

India and Kenya on Monday signed seven agreements in various fields including trade, double taxation avoidance and defence co-operation in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta in Nairobi.

 

 

Modi had held a restricted meeting with the Kenyan President which was followed by delegation level talks and signing of agreements. 

 

Prime Minister said India stands ready to share its development experiences and expertise to assist in Kenya’s development objectives.

 

 

Tributes to first Prez of Kenya
Earlier Prime Minister paid tributes to the first President of Kenya Jomo Kenyatta at his mausoleum.

 

After Mozambique, South Africa and Tanzania, Prime Minister reached Nairobi last night on the final leg of his 4-nation Africa tour.
