Happy Birthday Sushant Singh Rajput, the reel MS Dhoni

Mumbai / 21 Jan 2016 The quintessential boy-next-door with a charming smile, Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR) turns 30 years old today. From theatre, to tv shows to finally the big screen, the Patna-born star has covered it all. An important year for the star, 2016 will see the release of the M.S. Dhoni biopic, with SSR essaying the role of the Cricket Captain himself. 

Beginning his career as a dancer in the troupe of famed choreographer Shiamak Davar, Sushant Singh Rajput was a background dancer in several Filmfare awards before joining a theatre group. Spotted in one of his plays by the Balaji Films casting team, SSR came to the small screen in the tv shows Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and then Pavitra Rishta.

Sushant Singh Rajput received critical acclaim and commercial success for his debut movie Kai Po Che, and has gone on to act in Shuddh Desi Romance and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy along with a small role in the superhit movie PK.        

Engaged to Ankita Lokhande, his Pavitra Rishta co-star, the wedding date is yet to be announced.
