DN Bureau

The byelection of Ghosi assembly seat in Mau district of UP is in the midst of heated talk these days. A viral video of the accused throwing ink on Dara Singh Chauhan yesterday has raised many questions. Dynamite News exclusive:

Ghosi (Mau): Why is the UP police not revealing the truth behind throwing black ink at the BJP candidate in the Ghosi byelection Dara Singh Chauhan, former state forest minister, even after the accused has surrendered?

The incident happened on Sunday in Ghosi when a person threw black ink on Dara Singh Chauhan. Despite the presence of Chouhan's supporters and the government gunner, the accused escaped from the spot after committing the crime. That's why the question arises why didn't Dara's supporters and the gunner caught him then and there?

However after some time of the incident, the accused himself surrendered at the Kopaganj police station. While he was going to the police station, someone talked to him and made a video of it. In the video the accused can heard saying that he has thrown ink on Dara Singh Chauhan at behest of the BJP leader Prince Yadav.

The accused has been identified as Monu Yadav alias Diamond.

Top political circles are abuzz with many questions: What is the truth behind the ink incident? Why is the police keeping silence? What about the accused's claim that he threw the ink on Dara Singh at behest of the BJP leader Prince Yadav?

Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition Akhilesh Yadav made two tweets on this matter. First last night and second Monday morning. When the person who threw ink on Dara Singh in Ghosi himself has told that this work has got done by the BJP people.

After this morning's tweet by SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav, the politics of the state has heated up.

While sharing a video, Akhilesh Yadav wrote that "When the person who threw ink in Ghosi himself told that this work was got done by BJP people, then what else to say now. Wait and see what more BJP does out of fear of defeat!
