Everything comes alive with the leap motion

New Delhi. Leap Motion presents an entirely new way to interact with your computers. You do not require any mouse, key-board or touch screen, still you can direct your computer to work with precision by just moving your hand or fingers from a distance. Put simply, it is more accurate than a mouse, as reliable as a keyboard and more sensitive than a touchscreen. The Leap Motion controller is a small USB peripheral device which is designed to be placed on a physical desktop, facing upward. For the first time, you can control a computer in three dimensions with your natural hand and finger movements. However, your computer needs to memorize your finger impression once before operating. This technology was first developed in 2008, while co-founder David Holz was studying for his Ph.D. in mathematics.
