Dr. Jaya, wife of Pulok Chatterjee cremated in the Capital

New Delhi/ 26 April 2016. Economist and social activist Dr. Jaya Chatterjee, wife of Senior IAS Pulok Chatterjee was cremated at Lodhi Road crematorium in the capital on Sunday.

She passed away on Friday. She was 67. Her husband was Principal Secretary to the former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. Pulok is 1974 batch UP cadre IAS. 

Former Prime Minister Dr. Mannohan Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Senior IAS Arun Bhatnagar and many other politicians, bureaucrats and social workers were present at her cremation.
