The history

However, the temple around it was built in the 20th century. Saturday and Tuesday are the busiest day in temple as they both are the days of hanumanji. The temple is divided into four large halls, and as you enter, you will be greeted by loud shrieks and screams of those possessed by ghosts or spirits. This is unlike any other regular religious shrines, where you are greeted by chants and loud thudding of bells.

Time to visit

Timing to visit the temple is up to 9 PM in summer and 8 PM in winter. Festival time like Holi, hanuman Jayanti, Dusshera etc. is being regarded as the most auspicious time to emancipate from the evil spirit.

The rituals

The rituals of this temple are very specific and need to follow in proper sequence without any mistake. Overall the rituals can be divided into three broad parts known as; Durkhasta, Arzi nd Savamani. It is important that you never look backwards after that and then walk out of the area to your bus or car or hotel and get out of the town. The reason for not looking back is that if there are any evil spirits behind you, they will not follow you and you must not eat anywhere in that area after you have done your prayers. You should simply leave and travel out of that town then.
