New Delhi.  Nitish Kumar has taken an oath for the fifth time as the Chief Minister of Bihar in a grand show on Friday. Now the big question is that how successfully he runs the government for next five years.  Dynamites News is highlighting four challenges that Nitish Kumar would face during his third consecutive term as CM.
Development of Bihar
After parting ways from Lalu Prasad, Nitish Kumar emerged in Bihar politics by playing developmental card. In last two full terms as CM, Nitish’s image of vikas purush has not got full marks.  He has to match people’s expectation of development in current tenure. Also, it is apprehended that the influence of Lalu’s family could make things difficult for Nitish Kumar.
Coordination with the Centre
The bitter relation between PM Modi and Nitish Kumar is well known. And this anti-Modi image of Nitish Kumar has got a further boost after his victory in Bihar. In such scenario, Bihar’s developmental agenda could be hit badly. Everything will depend on how Nitish Kumar takes things forward and whether he focuses on Bihar or supports the anti-Modi agenda of Lalu Yadav, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

Relations with Alliance partners
As RJD has 12 Cabinet Ministers in the government.  All are aware of the questionable background of the RJD leaders. So, it would be a herculean task for Nitish Kumar to handle them and provide good governance, at the same time maintaining a good political balance with the RJD. Another alliance partner Congress could be challenging when Nitish Kumar expands his political interests outside Bihar.
Tackling of the Opposition
Nitish Kumar is having good experience in handling opposing political forces. His government has a comfortable number strength, but it is a fact that he has a strong and aggressive opposition. He may have to face challenges of the opposition in the assembly.
