Admirers pay tribute to veteran social worker Uttam Chand Mittal

New Delhi/ 8 June 2016. A ‘kriya’, prayer meeting, was held on Wednesday to pay tributes to a well-known social worker Uttam Chand Mittal at Chinmaya Mission in the capital. 

He had passed away on 27 May in Noida after a prolong illness. Mittal was associated with several charity organisations such as Senior Citizen welfare association, Ghaziabad and Agrasen Samaj Ghaziabad. He spent his life for the upliftment of the poor and downtrodden. 

He is survived by his two sons and a daughter. One of his sons Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal is Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of National Buildings Construction Corporation Ltd. (NBCC).
