9 Secretary-level officers transferred by Modi Govt

New Delhi/ 29 Jan 2016. Modi government shifted 9 secretary-level officers in different ministries on Friday. Telecommunications department gets new Secretary as JS Deepak. Present secretary Rakesh Garg transferred and gets charge as a secretary of Minority Affairs Ministry.

1.     J S Deepak, IAS (UP:1982), Secretary, Department of Electronics and information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology as Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology vice Rakesh Garg, IAS (UP:1980) on his appointment as Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs.

2.     Dr. Aruna Sharma, IAS (MP:1982), presently posted in her Cadre as Secretary, Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology vice J S Deepak, IAS (UP:1982) on his appointment as Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

3.     Shobhana K Pattanayak, IAS (KN:1982), presently posted in his Cadre as Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare vice Siraj Hussain, IAS (UP:1979) on his superannuation.

4.     Avinash K Srivastava, IAS (UP:1982), Special Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare as Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries vice Ranglal Jamuda, IAS (OR:1981) on his superannuation.

5.     Dr. Krishan Kumar Jalan, IAS (HY:1982), Central Provident Fund Commissioner, Employees' Provident Fund Organization, Ministry of Labour and Employment as Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises vice Anup K Pujari, IAS (KN:1980) on his superannuation.

6.     Dr. Vinod Agrawal, IAS (JH:1980), Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes as Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment vice Lov Verma, IAS (UP:1978) on his superannuation.

7.     Dr. Shyam S Agarwal, IAS (RJ:1980), Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes as Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs vice Arun Jha, IAS (BH:1981) on his appointment as Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes. Mr. Agrawal will also hold the additional charge of the post of Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes for a period of three months or till the appointment of a regular incumbent to that post or till further orders, whichever is the earliest

8.     Arun Jha, IAS (BH:1981), Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs as Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Castes vice Dr. Vinod Agrawal, IAS (JH:1980) on his appointment as Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

9.     Rakesh Garg, IAS (UP:1980), Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology as Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs vice Amarendra Sinha, IAS (UK:1981) who is holding additional charge of the post.
