Noida: The Media and Management Departments of Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME), Noida hosted a degree distribution ceremony. Degrees were conferred to the graduates at the ceremony.

The Chief Guest at the event was Prabhu Chawla, Editorial Director, New Indian Express Group.

The event began with the lighting of the lamp.

Dr Parul Mehra, Head of Media School and Dr Poorva Ranjan, Head of Management School, in their addresses expressed their gratitude to the Chief Guest Prabhu Chawla and other distinguished guests.

After the inaugural address by Dr Ravikant Swami, Director General of the Institute and former Judge of Allahabad High Court Justice Bhanwar Singh addressed the guests present.

Chief Guest Prabhu Chawla conferred degrees to the graduates.

In his address, Prabhu Chawla shared the story of his life journey so far and the reasons for taking up journalism as a career. Prabhu Chawla also spoke about how Indian journalism has changed over time.

In the ceremony, degrees were awarded to the graduates of BA (JMC) Batch 2019-22, BBA Batch 2020-23 and BA (JMC) Batch 2020-23.

The ceremony ended with the Vote of Thanks by Dr Navya Jain, Academic Coordinator, School of Management and Dr Yamini, Academic Coordinator, School of Media.
