DME and TRAI jointly organise ‘Consumer Outreach Program’ in Noida

Noida: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME) on Friday jointly organized a consumer outreach program on unsolicited commercial communication (UCC) in Noida, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
Nearly 100 students from Media, Law, and Management disciplines and about 20 distinguished guests from Telecom Companies such as Jio, Airtel and BSNL participated in the program.

As many as five officers from TRAI namely Anand Kumar Singh (Advisor), SMK Chandra (Joint Advisor), Manish Jain (Joint Advisor), Sushil Kumar Bansal (Senior Research Officer), Devesh Kushwaha (ASO) attended the program. One officer from I4C Nisha Pandey was also in attendance in the function.
Prof Dr Ravi Kant Swami, Director of DME welcomed all the guests. Anand Kumar Singh, Advisor gave a brief introduction of TRAI.

Manish Jain, Joint Advisor and Nisha Pandey from I4C spoke on UCC, cyber fraud and cyber helpline website and number.
Later, Anand Kumar Singh from TRAI presented mementos to Prof Dr Ravi Kant Swami and Nisha Pandey.
The program was organised under guidance of Dr Farah Hayat (Faculty Convenor), Souma B Sarkar (Faculty Co-convenor) and Srishti Balam (Faculty Member).
