New Delhi: A prisoner from Tihar Jail in Delhi sustained stab injuries in an attack by two other prisoners at the hospital in the prison complex, said Delhi police.
The attack took place on Wednesday after a quarrel erupted between them. The injured was identified as Hitesh, alias Happy, and he is said to be linked with the Gogi gang. The alleged attackers were identified as Gaurav Lohra and Gurinder.

Hitesh is undergoing treatment at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital in Delhi.
The three prisoners are in jail in murder cases. A case has been registered at the Hari Nagar Police Station.

Based on the nature of the injuries, a case FIR under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at the Hari Nagar Police Station, and an investigation is in progress, said the police. (ANI)
