Delhi receives light drizzle; Check weather forecast for other states

New Delhi: Delhiites on Thursday morning woke up to light rain, with the minimum temperature recorded at 19.5 degrees Celsius.  

Notably, India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for the National Capital Region (NCR).

Hottest Day
The drizzle came as a relief a day after the national capital recorded the hottest day in Feb in 19 years.

According to IMD, the effect of changing weather will be seen in the hilly states for the next 3 days while heat is likely to increase in South and West India.

Rain is forecast in UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Haryana-Punjab, Delhi-NCR with movement of clouds during the day. There are chances of thunderstorms along with rain in many states of the country including Delhi NCR.

Uttar Pradesh
According to IMD, the effect of changing weather will be seen in Kanpur, Fatehpur, Lucknow, Western and Eastern UP as well. Cloudy weather will be witnessed in these district during the day.
