New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal along with his MLAs on Thursday visited the Rajghat and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, shortly after he convened a meeting of his legislators where he discussed a BJP-orchestrated operation to topple his government.

Kejriwal, the National Convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), also claimed that his government was stable.

Talking to twitter, he alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had kept aside Rs 800 crores to bring down the Delhi government and they have put up a price of Rs 20 crores per MLA.

"The country wants to know. Whose are these Rs 800 crores, where are they kept?"

He added: "Our MLAs are intact. The government is stable. We will keep continuing our good work in Delhi."

Earlier, addressing a press conference, AAP spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj said Kejriwal had derailed the BJP's 'Operation Lotus' in Delhi.

"BJP is trying to topple our elected government in Delhi. The 'Operation Lotus' failed due to Kejriwal," he said, adding that 53 of the party's 62 MLAs attended the meeting.

"The Speaker is outside the country and Manish Sisodia is in Himachal. The CM spoke to other MLAs over the phone and everyone said that they are with CM Kejriwal till their last breath," Bharadwaj added. (UNI)
