International Women's day: Delhi Police launches Women PCR vans
Delhi Police has launched five all women PCR vans at Delhi Police Headquaters on the occassion of International Women's day.
New Delhi: Delhi Police has launched five women PCR vans on the occassion of International Women's day at Delhi Police Headquaters today.
Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik flaged off 5 five all women PCR vans and said, " We have launched five vans earlier, but giving priotrity to women security five more PCR vans have been launched on the occasion of “International Women’s Day”
He further said,"These PCR Vans will be deployed at the different locations considering the high footfall of general public, especially large number of women, student and tourists"

"Twenty seven women police personnel have been specially selected and imparted training in firing skills. They have also been trained in unarmed Combat skills," Delhi Police Commissioner said.
These PCR Vans will deployed in following area:
1. Vishwa Vidhyalaya Metro Station (North Campus)
2. Patel Chest Institute ( Delhi University)
