Delhi Police arrest 6 illegal Bangladeshi migrants posing as transgenders

New Delhi: Six alleged illegal Bangladeshi migrants, who disguised themselves as transgenders and were begging at trafic signals, were arrested by Delhi Police from North-West Delhi's Jahangirpuri area, officials said on Friday.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, the suspects had undergone "minor surgeries" and "hormonal treatments" too to change their body appearance and mix into the local transgender community.

They were handed over to the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) in R K Puram to start their deportation process.
Notably, the police has launched surveillance drive targeting illegal Bangladeshi migrants in some areas.
