Delhi: One killed, 2 injured over petty dispute in Govindpuri; 5 held

New Delhi: A man was killed and two others were injured following a dispute over cleaning a common toilet in Govindpuri on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Sudheer. Sudheer, his brother Prem and friend Sagar were rushed to AIIMS after they were allegedly stabbed by their neighbours. Later, Suheer succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased was stabbed in chest, face and head with a kitchen knife, said the police.

Five detained
Five people, including a minor, have been detained. Accused Bhikam Singh, his wife Meena and their three sons Sanjay (20), Rahul (18) and a minor were held for questioning. Bhikam works at a building materials shop in Govindpuri, according to the police.
Police has registered a case under various sections of the BNS.
Both the accused and the victim were tenants in Govindpuri and had a common toilet. The quarrel began over the issue of cleaning the common toilet which soon turned violent.

AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal blamed the Home Minister Amit Shah for the deteriorating law and order situation in the national capital.
“People of Delhi should unite and raise their voices against the on going anarchy in the city," Kejriwal said.
