Delhi man shot dead on NH-24; Victim family stages protest on Akshardham-Ghaziabad road

New Delhi: A 32-year-old man was shot dead on the National Highway-24 near Phool Mandi area, Delhi Police said on Monday.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the family members and local residents staged a protest and blocked the Akshardham-Ghaziabad road, demanding the arrest of the accused.

The victim has been identified as Rohit, a resident of Ghazipur village. He was found with a bullet injuries and was rushed to the LBS Hospital, where he was declared dead, according to the police. 

A protester said that Rohit was shot dead late Sunday night. He lived with his maternal uncle.
