New Delhi: Leader of Opposition Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi condoled the deaths of three students in basement flooding at a coaching centre in Old Rajinder Nagar on Sunday.

"The death of competitive exam students due to waterlogging in the basement of a building in Delhi is very unfortunate. A few days ago, a student died due to electric shock during the rains. express my heartfelt condolences to all the bereaved families," Rahul Gandhi said in the post.
"This collapse of infrastructure is a combined system failure. The common citizen is paying the price of unsafe construction, poor town planning and the irresponsibility of institutions at every level by losing his life," he added.
Gandhi said that a safe and comfortable life is the right of every citizen and the responsibility of the government. (with Agency inputs)
