Delhi High Court dismisses petition to remove 'jailed' Arvind Kejriwal as Chief Minister

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Thursday declined to accept a petition seeking to remove 'jailed' Arvind Kejriwal as Chief Minister, reports Dynamite News correspondent. 

Kejriwal is lodged in Tihar Jail after his arrest in the Excise policy case.

"At times, personal interest has to be subordinate to national interest," the High Court observed.

The petition was filed by Vishnu Gupta, a social worker and national president of the Hindu Sena.
