New Delhi: Delhi Fire Department denies reports of cash recovery at Delhi High Court Judge Justice Yashwant Varma’s official residence.  

Atul Garg, Director of Delhi Fire Services, stated: “We only controlled the fire; nothing unusual was reported. Police were already present before we arrived. Our officials did not find any cash.”

This contradicts earlier claims of a massive cash stash discovery.

His transfer to Allahabad High Court is separate from the in-house inquiry. 

The proposal was reviewed by the Collegium on March 20 and responses are being examined before a final decision.
