New Delhi: Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit on Thursday filed his nomination from the New Delhi Assembly seat.
The grand old party has fielded Ex-Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit's son Sandeep Dikshit against AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and BJP’s Parvesh Sharma in a triangular contest.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, Former Union Minister and veteran party leader Ajay Maken, Ex-Delhi Lok Sabha MP Udit Raj and party leader Pawan Khera were accompanied him when he filed his nomination.

After filling his nominatios, Sandeep Dikshit exuded confidence that grand old party would win the elections, saying: "The people are seeing a new opportunity in the party."

Dikshit on Defamation against Atishi
On the defamation complaint filed by him against Delhi CM Atishi and AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, he said: "They should now give the evidence to prove their baseless charges. The Chief Minister has not been able to provide the proof that we have taken funding from the BJP."
'AAP will loose'
Ajay Maken said that AAP would loose the coming elections due to corruption, Sheeshmahal’ and excise policy.
New Delhi Seat
The seat is currently represnted by Ex-Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Earlier, it was considered a Congress stronghold as it was represented by Shiela Dikhit for long.
